    Business Management Overview

    The Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management is a comprehensive 18-month program that builds on the foundation in business management acquired in the Associate Degree program. The curriculum incorporates previous coursework in basic computer operations (Microsoft Office), management and accounting, and expands to include classes that are critical in today’s global economy and international business climate.

    Coursework includes practical and traditional areas of business like advertising, marketing, retailing, insurance, human resources, auditing, corporate taxation, and personal finance, as well as more theoretical and contemporary subjects like Consumer Behavior, Entrepreneurship, Negotiation, Crisis Management, and Decision Making. The program also includes segments designed to meet the needs of students whose interests are in import/export and international business with classes in Web Page Design, E-Commerce, Global Marketing and Global Management. The general education component of this business college degree program offers more advanced academic courses.

    Computer Science Overview

    The Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science is designed to provide the students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the field of Information Technology and Software Engineering. The curriculum of the computer science school encompasses both the practical and theoretical aspects of Computer Science.

    The curriculum includes computer science courses and advanced topics in database design, operating systems, computer architecture, data, signal and information processing, digital and wireless networks. The students are exposed to new technologies such as UML, XML, .Net programming, client/server, Internet and world wide web programming; e-business architecture; and event-driven, object oriented programming (OOP) and object oriented design (OOD) in C++, Java, and Visual Basic.net.

    Graphic Design Overview

    Upon successful completion of the graphic design program, graduates will receive an Associate of Arts Degree in Graphic Design. The minimum program length is 72 semester credit hours (1152 Clock Hours). They will be divided into six 12-week terms.

    The graphic design education program is structured to meet the needs of students who want to succeed in the field of graphic communication. Students will be trained and will develop their artistic skills to produce almost any type of printed form of communication as well as animation and multimedia.

    There are many opportunities for entry-level positions in graphic design. Some potential employers include publishing and advertising agencies, corporate art departments, corporate art and audio visual departments, printing companies, animation, movie and television studios, newspaper, magazine publishers, record companies, independent filmmaker production companies, as well as numerous freelance job opportunities.

    Massage Therapy Overview

    The Massage Therapy program, which is offered at ICT College in Los Angeles, is designed to provide the student with the necessary tools required to successfully enter the massage industry. Whether it is a spa, a therapy clinic, chiropractic or doctor’s office, a health club, a resort, or a cruise ship, graduates of this California massage training program will have acquired all the skills needed to enter this new career.

    In the Massage Therapy program, the student learns the basics of this rapidly growing profession – Swedish massage, sports massage, anatomy and physiology, sound business practices related to the practice of massage, and an overview/exposure to reflexology, Shiatsu, polarity, and other non-traditional modalities.

    Theory is combined with hands-on instruction in a specially constructed massage setting. Classes are offered in the morning, and evenings at ICT and are taught by working professionals who have a great deal of experience in the industry.

    Medical Office Management Overview

    The health care field offers a variety of interesting and challenging career opportunities to graduates of the Medical Office Management (MOM) program. In this course, students receive training that emphasizes the administrative and business aspects of managing a medical or dental office. With strong administrative skills, graduates can become an integral part of a health care facility. Entry level positions such as insurance processor, medical records administrator, and medical transcriber are available in medical and dental offices, hospitals, clinics, home health agencies, and insurance companies.

    Medical Office Management students develop administrative skills through a variety of media. ICT provides practice in using personal computers, calculators, and transcription machines. A computer tutorial gives enrollees the opportunity to manipulate software and familiarize themselves with today’s computerized medical office.
