Information on Programs Offered:This program provides students with training in a variety of application software programs currently being utilized in today's office environment. The graduate of this program will have the ability to type a minimum of 45 wpm, utilize the 10-key by touch, and will possess Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Office Systems skills. In addition, graduates receive instruction in preparation to obtain the Microsoft Office Specialist Certification.Walk into an Institute of Technology Baking and Pastry Specialist classroom and breathe in. As a student in this program, you will receive the professional education one should expect from a quality school like Institute of Technology. Your instructors have the background experience to provide you with the opportunity to learn the fundamental culinary skills necessary in baking and pastry creation.Our ECST program is designed to prepare our graduates to build and deploy the infrastructure for wired and wireless data networks and digital security systems, as well as to install and troubleshoot telephone systems and switches. Training includes a strong understanding of structured cabling standards and practices, which provides the fundamental skills needed to wire data and voice networks for residences, the Small Office/Home Office market and for enterprise-class networks.A solid balance of theory, computer simulations and hands-on practical experience prepares our HVAC program graduates to perform as entry level technicians in both the residential and commercial HVAC industry sectors. Our graduates will be able to maintain, troubleshoot and service heating, air conditioning and refrigeration units and will be expected to obtain EPA Universal certification prior to graduation.Students in this program will specialize in medical insurance billing and coding. This includes knowledge of Medical Manager Software, ICD-9 and CPT 4 coding, medical and dental terminology, insurance billing forms as well as law and ethics.
