The increased complexity of construction projects due to new advances in building materials and construction methods will boost demand for specialized management-level personnel within the construction industry. The working conditions in the construction industry are challenging, so jobs often do not attract a sufficient number of qualified job seekers. While clinical duties vary according to state law, medical assistants generally write medical histories, record vital signs, prepare patients for examinations or lab tests, and assist physicians with examinations.
